Interesting stuffs that are true in theory but not in practice.

Hi Interesting.....!

1.Pour a jug of boiling water into a lake. In theory, the lake has increased in temperature. We can even calculate exactly how much it has increased in temperature. In practice, the temperature has not changed in any measurable way.

2.A motorcycle rider turns the motorcycle by leaning.  Not true.
The rider does not lean, he turns the front wheel in the direction opposite of the way he wants to turn.  The motorcycle falls.  This is the leaning.  The gyroscopic action of the wheels counter the lean attempting to right the motorcycle.  These counterforces cause the motorcycle to turn in the direction of the fall but the motorcycle does not actually fall.  When the motorcycle is pointed in the direction the rider wants it to go he turns the wheel back straight, the motorcycle straightens up, and the turn is complete.

3.You can predictably win a lottery, by betting on combinations that others are unlikely to pick (like  1 2 3 4 5 6)  Theoretically true - you increase your payout while probability of winning remains the same. Practically - don't think so. You will have to play too long and spend too much to get anywhere near decent win. And well before that, many other people will start doing the same, ruining your game.

Thank You..!
